The Typhoon came and went. Its not like I wanted the Typhoon to flatten everything in its path, but I was hoping it would arrive at a more convenient time, instead I woke up at about 3am to the sound of rattling windows and bikes falling over. My sleep pattern was almost normal, well normal for me anyway, and Melor has set me back, at least it didnt send me back to the Land of Oz. I couldve killed the wicked witch of the east and hung out with the Munchkins.

I have just been outside to look for any signs of the winds strength, but theres really not that much. An umbrella skipping down the road, but that nothing unusual, a row of bikes that look like dominos, again nothing really unusual there either. Seems that we were lucky here and got away with very little damage. There were quite a few tree branches in a park, but then there are quite a few trees in that park. I doubt any one was out walking their dog at 3am.

I quess that they are used to this kind of thing and are prepared, I wonder if there are leaves on the line…..

Ah, you have the blog up eventually. I wont ask hows things cos you have already told us. So – whats your room like? sharing? I would like images of the loo as well.

BTW – I think Kev and I are coming back to Japan next year. Obviously you will have to be the tour guide. Not sure yet tho.

Looks good mate! Good on you for living your dreams! Now all you have to do is give up the blogging several times because it’s exposing too much of the ‘inner you’ only to restart it again ;-)

Seriously though, good on you! And the blog looks really well!
